Why We Built This Site
Alabama gives the public access to many public records, but court records are still controlled by the office that keeps the file. In Crenshaw County, Circuit and District Court records are handled by Circuit Clerk Sherrie Sipper at the courthouse in Luverne. Probate case records, marriage certificate recording, land records, wills, estates, guardianships, and conservatorships are handled by Judge of Probate William A. Tate. Current custody and local booking questions start with Sheriff Terry Mears, while statewide inmate and traffic systems sit outside the county office structure.

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
